While preparing yesterdays post, I had an other look at the Fall Ready To Wear Collection of Akris (showed you the link to their Spring 2013 collection yesterday).
This looks above are my favorites from their 2012 Fall Collection, you can see the whole collection here.
I love the color palette and the minimalist chic! The Akris woman looks strong, beautiful and intelligent to me and once again it becomes clear that real sexyness does not include showing much skin!
I'd love, love, love to wear all this looks!

This year the Swiss family owned fashion house Akris celebrates it's 90th Birthday.
Valerie Steel shows us the rich heritage of the family owned fashion house in a book that's now available here.
„It is modern to create a style that is simultaneously feminine and strong. The streamlined look of Akris fashion is designed to enhance the body, not to restrict it, and also to provide psychological strength and energy through a feeling of effortless just-rightness. This is fashion for the individual, modern woman.“ (Valerie Steele in "Akris", Assouline 2012).
Akris was founded in 1922. The house stands for fashion with clear lines and relaxed elegance. Creative Director is Albert Kriemler. You can see their latest collection here.

From the 7th until the 10th November there will be the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days in Zürich.
Swiss designers presenting their work there. One of them is Kazu Huggler. Born in Tokyo to a Japanese mother and a Swiss father, Kazu was raised in both Japan and Switzerland.
I adore her work. The japanese influence being a strong part but never overtaking her collections. I love the feminity of her dresses, they got a fantastic sillouette and the prints are absolutely stunning! I'd love to wear these looks above, they are my favorites, you can see her whole collection here.

A week ago I saw this Miu Miu coat up close while wandering trough Zürich. I can tell you, it's really gorgeous!
The coat was presented together with the matching pants, wool-blend brocade. They might look great together, but I couldn't see myself wearing them at the same time, I think I would look like a clown.
So, how to style a statment coat like this?
Bold colors, no prints, diva sunglasses, statment ring and some heels with a twist:
Top by Vivienne Westwood, Pants by Oscar de la Renta, Sunglasses by Yves Saint Laurent, Ring by Kenneth Jay Lane, Clutch by Anya Hindmarch, Heels by Yves Saint Laurent, all availabe at, well yes you were guessing right.... net-a-porter ;-)
For me this is the most perfect grey knit! It's from 3.1 Phillip Lim and you can get it at matchesfashion.com.
Jeans JBrand, Boots Acne, Bag Proenza Schouler, Sunnies Alexander Wang, Beanie Eugenia Kim Felix, Coat Isabel Marant, Ring Pippa Small, "I've got nothing to wear" notebook from Smythson. All available at net-a-porter.
I'm in a "Marni kind of mood" right now.....
Did you know, that Consuelo Castiglioni is part Chilean and was raised in the Italian Part of Switzerland, in a town called Lugano?
Lugano is a little and very relaxed town in the South Part of Switzerland. Everyone is talking Italian there.
Yes, we talk more than one language in our little country, actually we have four languages here, French, Swiss German, Italian and Rumantsch, never herd of Rumantsch? Go google it, it's a beautiful language.
Today we woke up to a snow fairy land! Everyone was so excited, we went outside to build a snowman, we had so much fun! But it was very cold!
Now we snuggle up inside and I feel like drinking hot chocolate, eating cupcakes, wearing a fancy pajama from Equipment, painting my nails golden and reading a book, smelling a scented candle! Mmmmmmh..... so cozy!

It's snowing outside! So romantic, I love it!
But on the other side of the world spring is in full bloom! Just made a long phone call to one of my best friends down under, miss her a lot! So gorgeous.... this outfit is for you! Don't forget the sunscreen!
Pants by J Crew, top by Haute Hippie, Heels by Christian Louboutin, sunnies by Cutler and Gross, hat by Etro, bracelet by Mulberry, bag by Reed Krakoff, all available at net-a-porter, the fun necklace is from Karma Living Diameters, you can get it at modcloth.com
So have a lovely weekend everyone, either in the snow or at the beach! Both is fun, always make the most of what you have!

Tomorrow we are going to get our first snow here in Switzerland, well here were I live, in the mountains it has been snowing already of course.
Snow means for me: warm shoes, no heels, warm beanie, scarf, knit and a really warm jacket and some gloves. And when it snows I prefer to be on the road with a bag that can handle getting wet.
Therefore this Marni tote is perfect, it's a vinyl bag, so you don't have to worry about it getting wet. The boots are from Marc by Marc Jacobs, they are shearling-lined, perfect for cold weather. The knit is from Alexander Wang, I love the happy color, perfect for grey days. The shearling jacket is from Helmut Lang, an all time favorite designer of mine! Scarf from Jimmy Choo and the fun cat-beanie is from Eugenia Kim Felix, love the fun twist of it. The gloves are from Lanvin (quite pricy!) but I love the color!
Well, to be clear here..... the collages I do here are my "dream outfits"..... I actually just own a tiny little part of these clothes, shoes and bags.... but it's all about being creative here, doing these collages is so relaxing, I do that instead of watching tv, cause on tv we don't really get many good things to watch here.... How do you relax?

I love this top and pants from 3.1 Phillip Lim.
Switching longsleeved tops underneath makes that outfit so versatile! Although this longsleeved top from Peter Pilotto is actually too fantastic to layer. Stole this idea from Garance Doré, think she wears this Phillip Lim top in some of her fantastic interviews, am I right? Or is it an other top, does anybody know?
This magic coat is from Michael Michael Kors, I love love love it! It looks like out of a story from Tolstoy!
Boots are from Acne, PS 11 from Proenza Schouler, Ring from Kenneth Jay Lane.
all available at net-a-porter

Wearing beautiful intimates, lighting a candle and reading a book can cure many things! We should treat ourselfs like a queen every day!
Intimates, Ring and pants from Stella McCartney, knit from Rag & Bone, brogues by Marni, Clutch by Diane von Furstenberg, sunglasses by Illesteva, all available at net-a-porter.

When I saw this plaid silk-chiffon dress from Haute Hippie I fell in love! Hello Grunge Vibe!
I would pair it with my all time favorite Eli Boots from Fiorentini and Baker, sunnies from Thierry Lasry, Faux Fur vest from DKNY, Alexander McQueen bracelet, Studded Bag from Valentino and I'd put my imaginary ipad in this fancy case from Alexander Wang (love the pebbled leather!)
all available at net-a-porter
Spektre mirror sunglasses, Sass & bide top, J Brand Aiden boyfriend jeans, Acne metallic clutch, Converse, Chan Luu necklace, Smythson wallet, random red beret cap hat.
I sam this Sass & bide top at net-a-porter and styled around it. Would be a fun outfit to wear for a lazy afternoon with my best friend!

Top and trousers by Maison Martin Margiela. Bag by Reed Krakoff. Brogues from Church's. Earrings by J Crew. "Places to remember" booklet by Smythson. And "Off you go" Bangle by Kate Spade/Garance Doré. All available at net-a-porter.
Ah.... and.... by the way..... I'm not connected to net-a-porter in any way and I don't get any credits when you order these things, I just love to do style collages, that's all.... have a nice day!
Everyone is crazy about the Tiger Kenzo sweater, it's sold out almost everywhere. I think it's a fun sweater and it looks gorgeous on many. I prefer this Kenzo sweater though, saw it at net-a-porter the other day and can't get it out of my head! I'd love to wear it with skinny jeans and these Marni metallic brogues and to add more color during a grey day, the PS 1 would be just perfect! The ring is by Aurélie Bidermann, love the simple but clever design.
Serge Lutens has an amazing palette of scents, the one I think would be perfect for this outfit is called Datura Noir. The nailpolish Vendetta from Chanel is an old favorite of mine and would match all this just perfectly.
I'm very tired today and I'd love to sit in a quiet coffee place right now and drink a cappuccino while looking at Scott Schuman's new book! That would be such a pleasure!

Love this! Love this ladys work!
