Via: pinterest
Happy New Year everyone! Hope that 2014 will be a year full of blue skies and candy floss!
Hip hip hurray! Bring it on 2014! Some of my friends down under are soon to do the count down!
My only New Years resolution is to "think less, worry less and have more fun"! So in that sence, to blue skies, laughter, friends, and some bubbly tonight!

Oh well.... I'm having a little pink phase at the moment! I got my new bag I ordered over matchesfashion. Wow, I can tell you, that delivery was fast! I ordered it one afternoon this week and lunch time of the next day I already got it delivered, I almost didn't believe it! No and I'm not getting payed for writing that, hahaha.
With a pink bag, pink blush and lipgloss I really need some black to feel in balance, I'm a bit paranoid of looking like Barbie as you already might have realized :-D
Oh man, the leather of this bag is a dream guys! If you got some spare money, or a big wish to make.... go head over to matchesfashion.com and get yourself this pink beauty on sale!

Skirt over Pants
Rag & Bone Dre cropped mid-rise slim-leg boyfriend jeans, Dolce & Gabbana herringbone wool coat (similar here), Dries Van Noten sweater (similar here), Dries Van Noten Selma skirt, Fiorentini and Baker Nubis shearling-lined suede ankle boots, Linda Farrow for Dries Van Noten Oval Acetate Sunglasses, Louis Vuitton black Epi Leather small Noe bag, Isabel Marant belt, Small brass medaillon bracelet Givenchy
Did you try the skirt over pants trend? I find it's tricky and I think if you are not tall it's even trickier! But I love the unexpected version most, the ones you can create out of your wardrobe. There are these "two in one" versions of pants and skirt, but they somehow never meet my wishes, if the proportions are not perfect it doesn't work.
I'm curious about your tricks for that trend! So let me know.

Chloé
Roses de Chloé au de Toilette, Chloé sweater (similar here), Chloé pants (similar here), Chloé Wool-blend Cape, Chloé Chelsea Boots, Chloé Amelia bag, Chloé gold-plated Ring, Chloé sunglasses, Chanel lipgloss
I have a new obsession...... I'm craving all things Chloé lately. I just bought myself the "Roses de Chloé" and I love this scent so much, ahh, it's such a pleasure and a very welcome change from the more heavy secents I was using lately.
I love the elegance of the latest creations of Clare Waight Keller, the shapes of her pants are perfect and if I could, I really would want to live in them ;-) Clare really did a perfect job by following the classic feminine side of Chloé and adding the modern touch that was needed.
The newer bags from Chloé like Clare, Amelia and Baylee are a dream! I really would love to get the Clare bag, but so far I didn't find it anywhere.
And have you seen this cape guys?! Wow! I'm in love, a cape with a chic biker touch, just what I want.... well.... a little bit out of my budget at the moment, but when the sales start I might strike ;-)

Vintage Chanel
Chanel Nr °5, Chanel limited edition lipstick "La Précieuse", Vintage Chanel Drawstring bag, Vintage Chanel Bracelet, Linda Farrow Square-frame acetate and watersnake Sunglasses, Cashmere Beanie, Cashmere Blend Turtleneck from Dear Cashmere, Goldsign for J Crew jeans,
Acne Studios Vita Leather Ankle Boots
The other day I got a sample of Chanel Nr°5 and I immediately sprayed some of it on to my wrist. This smell will for ever remind me of my grandmother! She passed away more than 10 years ago, but I still get watery eyes when I think about her. She was such an amazing woman! She was born in 1912 and grew up in the Swiss mountains, in a little village.... but she still went to law school and became a lawyer and she had four kids.... how amazing is that..... and this all before and during World war two!
I just had to do an outfit collage around that scent and I guess, if my grandmother would still be alive and if she'd be about my age, she would wear that outfit and just look amazing in it!
Happy weekend everyone!

Grey and beige
Derek Lam Camel Bouclé Cape, Acne rue mohair pullover (similar here), Current Elliot "the fling" jeans, Reed Krakoff Atlantique Tote, Pajar Iceland Snow Boots, Acne Stream kid chunky knit mohair beanie, Givenchy Palladium Small Medaillon Bracelet, Celine Sunglasses (similar here), Chanel Frenzy nailcolor, Chanel lipstick
We had our first snow last week and at the moment I'm crazy about the color combination "Beige and Grey".
Grey and beige are somehow so "cozy" colors and when it gets cold, they help keeping me warm. I know it doesn't really work when you look at it from a physiological side, but we humans are not only "physiological beings", are we?
What colors help you keeping warm?

Dries Van Noten Buys
The ones who follow my blog (a very little, but very fine crowd) know, that I'm a big fan of Dries Van Noten, such a big fan actually, that if anybody would ask me to pick my favorite designer, I would pick Dries.
So when I found these crock embossed brogues on Vestiare collective, never worn, in my size!!! I simply had to get them! They fit perfectly and the quality of those shoes.... wow, a dream! I wear them, when ever I can!
And the scarf is an other present I made myself. I love the striped detail and I really dare say, this scarf will live for ever, it's warm and such good quality, a pleasure!
I love the masculine touch these accessories give to any of my outfits! I'm quite small and blond, so anything masculine is very welcome, cause I'm really far from being the barbie type blonde, style vise I mean.
Do you like to add masculine touches to your outfits? And who is your favorite designer? I'd love to hear!

Chloé Coat
Chloé Wool-twill Coat (on 70% sale), J.Crew Eaton cropped stretch wool pants, Iris and Ink Cashmere knit, Dries Van Noten Ankle boots, Givenchy Small Medaillon Bracelet, Illesteva Leonard Sunglasses, Reed Krakoff Double top handle Satchel, Dries Van Noten par Frederic Malle, Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet
I ordered this dream coat from Chloé a while ago over the outnet and when it arrived I knew, that this is a coat I will love all my life! The material is a dream and the cut so feminine, so perfect!
I'm in a quite classic mood lately and so I wear a lot of black and camel and I must say, that I really love the Iris and Ink line from the outnet!
And.... have you seen that new medaillon bracelet from Givenchy? Oh I'm a bit obsessed with that and I might make myself a early Christmas present! They come in differen materials, gold and silver tone and in two sizes. The big medaillon is really big, too big for me, but if you are a bit taller than me it might work perfectly.
I'm a Reed Krakoff fan since a long time and I must say, that this new bag shape is one of my favorites! At the Spring 2014 shows we could see some white ones and black and white ones..... my new dream bag!
And this is for the boys.... don't know if any male readers are tuning in, but if yes.... the Dries Van Noten scent from Frederic Malle might be a perfect Christmas present ;-)

Coats from The Outnet
via: the outnet
I'm having a thing with the outnet lately! They really have so many grate things! And I find, that when you buy classic pieces it really doesn't matter if it's from last season, then why actually buy a new black coat if you can get the same thing for much less? I just ordered a classic black wool coat from Chloé that was on a 70% sale, can't wait to get it! Will show you some pictures when I get it!
The first two coats are from Calvin Klein Collection and the second two from Marni.
You can go and check them out here.

Details Dries Van Noten Spring 2014
via: style.com
Dries Van Noten never stops to amaze me! Once again he created my absolute favorite collection!
There were many very, very beautiful collections, but if I had to choose only one favorite, it would be his!
The mix of romantic elements with ethnic ones is genius and the subtle gold make up is so beautiful!
And have you seen the accessories! Wow! The snake skin platform sandals and those bags are a dream!
This collection is so rich, warm and to look at those details is like eating the best chocolate :-)
What about you? If you only could choose one collection from the Spring 2014 shows, which one would be your favorite?

Golden Brogues
Marni Oxfords (similar here and here), Tibi full Skirt, Striped Cropped Top, Denim Jacket, Reece Hudson Clutch Bag, Vintage Chanel Necklace, Vintage Chanel Bracelet, Acne Sunglasses, Dries Van Noten by Frédéric Malle, Yves Saint Laurent Nr. 1 Lipstick
I love the concept of a feminine full skirt paired with Oxfords! Dries Van Noten showed us how to do that in his last collection.
I love to pair golden accessories with more casual vibes. And who actually said, that the "little black jacket" and the denim jacket are like sisters? Was it Carine Roitfeld? Can't remember right now..... but I always find, that the denim jacket can so wonderfully dress down an otherwise chic outfit.
I got the new fragrance from Frédéric Malle a while ago and I think he captured the work of Dries Van Noten very well in this perfume! I love it and wear it almost every day at the moment! And I'm kind of addicted to the Number one lipstick of Yves Saint Laurent, it's the perfect red for me! A real classic pure red, not to much blue or orange in it ;-)
Reece Hudson creates such wonderful bags! I got my eyes on that clutch, hmmmm so nice!
How do you wear a full skirt? I'd love to hear!

Marni Milan Fashion Week Spring 2014
via: Style.com
Wow! I'm such a Marni fan! The softer shapes and romantic details mixed with sporty elements and the typical Marni prints and accessories... a dream! Those high waist, wide leg pants, worn with a sporty belt and platform sandals are designed for me, it's so very much "me", I will copy that asap :-)
For me Marni bags and shoes are among the most beautiful ones! I own a pair of black leather Marni platform sandals and I'm in love with them! And I think my next bag purchase will definitely be a Marni bag! I love how Marni can combine playfulness and simplicity, two things you would not think can come together, but Marni can combine those two like no other fashion house!
Do you love Marni? Are you a Marni woman?

New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 Favorites Part II
3.1 Phillip Lim
Victoria Beckham
Wes Gordon
Derek Lam
Via: Style.com
Oh well, I'm so behind.... LFW is finished and Milan has begun... and I'm not even finished posting about my New York favorites ;-) I really do enjoy this time a year so much! I love, love, love to see what the designers create!
Phillip Lim was my absolute favorite collection from New York this season! If I could afford it, I would actually buy his whole collection! Must be my old love for geology ;-)
And I really loved the softer shapes at Victoria Beckham!
Wes Gordon was not so much on my radar, but he surely will be in future! I loved his feminine shapes and the texture play!
And last, but not least.... Derek Lam is and will be a favorite in future, I'm sure of that!
What were your New York favorites?
