Today is my husbands birthday, not just any birthday, he's 40 today! So my Love, this post is for you, Love of my Life! I hope that we can spend many more decades together! I love you to the sun and back, a million times and more!

Dress Over Pants

One of the trends from the last shows is the "Skirt over Pants" or "Dress over Pants" Thing. It's not for everyone, but I love it! I used to do it years ago and I'm happy about the comeback now.

An other trend is the flats, hello flats :-) Happy about that one too! I'm a fan of brogues since many years and these ones from Rag&Bone are fantastic! They actually combine two trends.... white shoes and brogues/flats.

The Clutch from Lanvin is a little dream! Wow! Out of my reach at the moment, but hmmmm a dream!

Some of my best friends are Aussies and I used to live down under for about two years. We lived in Perth and I must say, I miss it almost every day! Western Australia is such a super beautiful place! And the relaxed vibe of Perth and especially Fremantle is still buzzing in my heart! As a town Melbourne and Sydney are actually more interesting, but all our best friends live in Perth, so Perth was the best place for us!

So... therefore I thought it might be good to share one of my favorite Aussie brands, bassike.

Dries Van Noten Fall 2013 Details

The ones who follow me already know, that I'm a huge fan of Dries Van Noten. Also the latest collection is one of those I keep going back to style.com, simply to admire the beauty of the creations! Can't get enough of these details!

I'm also very curious about the new perfume Dries Van Noten did in collaboration with Frédéric Malle, will try that for sure! Read about it here. So far it's not available in stores here in Switzerland, also the new scent of Marni is not in stores yet... can't wait to try those. I kind of have the feeling, that those two scents are made for me.....

Sometimes when I don't plan an outfit (which actually happens most of the times....), when I put together things in a hurry, I end up with the most fun looks. If I think too much, I often end up changing myself several times and finding nothing right. To be honest, often I take just what is on top of my pile on the chair next to my wardrobe and mix it with something new.

So when I'm in a hurry, I either wear all black or white or both, or a denim on denim look or if I'm lucky, I end up with a fun and new unexpected look like above.

During summer it actually gets much easier to get dressed in a hurry, put on a dress and your done. Really can't wait for Summer!!!
