no connection
Via: Studded Hearts
For the next two weeks I'll be at a place with no internet connection! How refreshing!
But I'll miss blogging, just recently began with it and I'm hooked! Learning to crawl through the net, next step will be that I start "photoshopping", there are so many things, all new to me and fun to learn!
But for the next two weeks I will read books and do a propper fashion strike, just like Garance Doré described in her post lately. I will wear my bikini, my jeans shorts, various tshirts and my thongs.
Wish you all a very good time! x Gabrielle

Transparent Personalised Acrylic Clutch on Etsy
Charlotte Free / Roksanda Ilinicic Spring 2012 RTW
This pictures are not exactly new.
I have them in my pinterest board since a while and find myself looking at them again and again. It's the perfect sporty couture. Wearable, casual chic and I love the beanies worn with the dresses. Charlotte Free of course wears this beanies like a queen her crown.
Here you can see the whole collection of Roksanda Ilinicic. The collection is almost one year old, but I love it so much and I think it is timeless!

White 3.1 Phillip Lim handbags
As you may know from my previous post I'm thinking of getting a white handbag. These three handbags from 3.1 Phillip Lim are so beautiful! Hard to decide, but I would probably go for the Messenger Bag. Which one is your favorite?
1. 31 Hour Bag
2. Pashli Satchel
3. Pashli Messenger Bag
White Handbags by Celine
I would love to get a white handbag, my favorite ones from Celine are these two beauties! How very lovely! Celestial, angelic handbags!
Backpack or Ladylike
Talking about my go to "uniform" of jeans and tshirt again. Switch the shoes, the bag and the sunnies and you get two totally different styles out of it! This black backpack is from The Row and must be the most beautiful one in the whole whide world, unfortunately it is a little bit out of my prize range....
Karen Walker sunglasses need a post of their own (note to self). The pink shades are from Illesteva.
This red clutch from Valentino is sold out, but there is a beautiful red clutch from 3.1 Phillip Lim.
Number Tee
I love the number tees from Isabel Marant, especially this blue version! Add blue and white accessories and summer will just be around the corner! This Proenza Schouler beauty in white is on my wishlist.
Girly Skulls
I like to mix girly and tough, so here we go with skulls and pink!
The studded beauty is from Valentino and you can get a similar version here.
The ring and bracelet are from Alexander McQueen.
The sunnies are from Illesteva and I think it can't hurt to see the world through pink glasses.
A black peplum top and some denim with a grate washing is one of my "uniforms" I wear all the time at the moment. Add different accessories and you look all new. How do you style a denim and black peplum top?
Isabel Marant Vibe from Topshop
This would be my perfect festival outfit for chillier evenings! The "Isabel Marant vibe knit" from Topshop is so cozy and flats are a must for long nights at festivals. Unfortunately it's sold out already, but you can get a similar version here. Attraction from Chanel is a fresh color for summer, it looks very chic, especially when you have a little tan. The skull ring is from Alexander McQueen and the bracelet from dannijo. The sandals are from Zara and are also sold out, but you can find a similar version here.
Transparent Clutch from 202 Factory at Minusey
This picture popped up on many blogs! Some time ago it was everywhere and I always wondered where this beautiful clutch is from. I found a good diy option, but well, I never actually found the time to start the project.
Some days ago I stumbled across the place you can actually order it.
It's over at Minusey!
"Les Essentiels"
Les Essentiels from Chanel (Suspicious, Frenzy and Vertigo). J Brand Aiden Jeans. White silk shirt from Acne. Celine Bag (on sale!) Black pointy toe heels. Elisabeth and James sunglasses. Chanel vintage necklace (on sale ! here). Mulberry Agenda.
Nixon watch (similar here).
Ka Pow Sweaters by Markus Lupfer and 3.1 Phillip Lim
I love this sweater by Markus Lupfer as you know from my outfit post lately.
But the Ka Pow sweater from 3.1 Phillip Lim is even more my style, I'd love to wear it in autumn together with black washed out skinny jeans or some leather skinnies!
Oh well, I haven't got any leather trousers yet and I think this should be my next bigger investment.
Peter Pilotto
I'm sure a lot of you know the book "100 Contemporary Fashion Designers" edited by Terry Jones. There are actually two volumes of this quite heavy book. As the title suggests, it gives you a short overview of 100 designers. I love the pictures and if you want to get to know contemporary fashion designers, it's a good way to start.
As this two volumes provide only a overview over a certain selection of designers, there are some designers missing. One I miss the most, is actually a designer duo, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. They are creating magical print elegance. The sculptural shapes, pared with wonderfully colorful prints reflect a new age elegance I love very much.
Here some of my favorites of their current Resort Collection:

Here some of my favorites of their current Resort Collection:
Pink Dress
A pink dress is one of the most girly things you can wear. I usually don't like too much sugar, so I would wear it with my favorite boots from Fiorentini and Baker, the Eli boot.
Ka Pow Sweater by Markus Lupfer
I like this sweater by Markus Lupfer a lot. It's fun and playful and sporty at the same time. Add some sporty classics like white jeans, Converse, Ray ban aviators and my all time favorite watch, Speedmaster from Omega and you got yourself a laidback and simple look around this sweater, that deserves to be the centre of attention. To get a kick of color, the neon bag is perfect and I like the fact that the yellow flashes on the sweater match the bag.
Celine metal heels
My dream heels from Celine! One of the most beautiful tote bags from The Row. Gucci gold plated leather bracelet. Karen Walker sunglasses. Reed Krakoff contrast sleeve sweater and white Jeans from Citizens Of Humanity. June nailpolish from Chanel.
Studded Leopard
7 for all mankind low rise shorts. Acne silkshirt. Valentino studded leopard clutch. Zara studded sandals. Oscar de la Renta ring. Gold cuffs. May from Chanel and the always cool Ray Ban aviators.
