Midi skirts, cropped tops and mirrored sunglasses are very on trend now! Personally I find the midi skirt to be a tricky thing when you are a petite person, but if you add a bit of hight with the right shoes and pay attention, that the skirt is high waist, I think you are not "dwarfing" yourself.

I love these mirrored sunglasses from Westward Leaning! And I love to wear a scarf instead of a hat, it feels so more "Grace Kelly like" than a hat. Also Miroslava introduced the head scarf lately.

My Zara Picks New Collection

These are my picks from Zara's new collection.

To find the good stuff it's important to click on "composition". For me it's important to get things in either cotton or silk and if something is purely out of polyamid, I usually pass, cause I don't really like the feeling of polyamid on my skin and in summer you get so hot in this fabric anyway.

Well, actually I planned to cut down my shopping at Zara.... but I keep coming back to their site.....

How do you feel about Birkenstocks?

I can still remember when I first saw the furry Céline sandals, I posted about them last autumn (for some funny reason I can't link to that post.... don't know why...)

The "age of coziness" has begun, I then said and for once I guess, I was right.

Birkenstocks are everywhere now, well.... not everyone can afford the furry Céline version! Although I still dream of placing my feet in this fur! Oh how wonderful this feeling must be! And well, yes I know, Birkenstocks and the furry Céline sandals can't be compared, but still they are similar.

For me it's quite funny, because I used to own a pair of black Birkenstocks for years and then everybody told me, that they are not very fashionable..... some day they almost fell apart, so I got rid of them after a while, but they were my companions for a long time! And my feet loved them so much!

Now I ordered these, as I find the black leather version much more fashionable. Can't wait to get them!

Beach wear

I'd love to be at the beach right now! I'm a fan of simple bikinis, this one from Dolce&Gabbana would be perfect. And even though I'm quite small, I'm into Maxi dresses right now, I love this one from Malene Birger. Sunglasses by Illesteva, Clutch from modaoperandi.com, Birkenstock sandals.

And the hat.... well ..... this hat is from Céline and it's as much as I would be able to pay for a flight to a beach right now.... but hey, a woman should dream and I have my eyes wide open for a similar one, that is actually affordable!

That one protects the skin with at least factor 30 is clear anyway, but sometimes I need to remind myself, that also my hair needs sun protection! This spray and after sun care from Aveda are really good, I use them regularly right now, cause I don't want to end up with damaged hair at the end of summer.

Are you going to the beach? Or are you at the beach right now? Where are you going? Would love to hear, so I can dream a bit more of being close to the ocean!

Do you love Couture?

I love it! It's always a feast for the eyes and the soul! Somehow I feel this pictures of the beautiful creations feed my craving for beauty so well! I never saw a show in person and it would be a dream come true and definitely a total different story than just these pictures on style.com!


Valentino is an all time favorite of mine, I adore the work of Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli so much! I think they crosse the line of fashion and enter the realm of art.

Mirror Sunglasses

It's not exactly a new trend, the mirrored sunglasses and I'm old enough to very well remember the trend when it was cool to wear them about 20 years ago.

I got a pair of Spektre, red ones and I practically wear them every day at the moment. But since I pinned this picture, I can't get this green ones out of my head! Very cool!

I found a pair of similar green ones here, but I wasn't lucky so far to find those in the picture above.

Does anybody have an idea where they are from? I love this outfit by the way! So simple, so cool! And I love the detail of the cut jeans, this adds just the right amount of "casual".
